Profile sketch of Dr. Cox from Scrubs, caricaturized. Quite pleased with this one as John C. McGinley is ridiculously difficult to draw, and I didn't have a photo reference here. (He has strange proportions.)

That's really good! I like how he looks cartoony and yet you can instantly tell who exactly it is!

I think it's his mouth that makes things difficult (for me anyway), his features are a bit longer than usual and that throws me off because I'm not used to placing the lips that far below the nose.
You've certainly managed to capture his profile though and I find it amazing that you did this without
references :)

I dunno, for some reason I usually tend to be drawn to people who are difficult to draw. Makes it a pain when I want to
do fanart, that's for sure. :lol:

Yeah--the man has no lips! That, and his mouth is rarely closed--his expressions seem to all have this partially-open mouth thing going on. It's like I tell people: he works in motion, but he's a hard guy to capture still!

Yes, he is incredibly thin lipped. It lends well to Cox's "angry jerk" persona though :lol:
I like the "works in motion" thing, never really thought about it that way before.
